Leader Development Resources Available
Planning an event? Preparing a meeting? Looking for new ways to motivate and encourage others? As leaders we seek ways to quickly find and utilize pertinent resources. The Leader Development Committee desires to provide them as free downloads on the LMWL website, starting with the two resources
These Leader Development Helps currently are offered in the LWML catalog. Updated to better meet your needs, they are only a few "clicks" away at www.lwml.org/resources/leader_development. These helps were previously only available through the catalog in print form. All revised helps will also be available in print form through the LWML store at the usual cost plus shipping and handling.

Connecting with All Women
In the same way, LWML recognizes opportunities to connect with a wide variety of women by understanding and incorporating various media for communication. A recent study at the University of Southern California reported that 67 percent of women under 40 indicated that they value their online communities as much as their offline relationships. LWML communicates with women face-to-face at conventions and other gatherings, through the Lutheran Woman’s Quarterly, catalogue, and brochures in print. In recent years, development of a website, lwml.org, and a variety of electronic newsletters have expanded our impact. In April 2010 free daily Mustard Seed e-devotions became available. The official LWML Facebook page is now available to encourage even greater connection among women.
Why are we doing this? Lutheran Women in Mission is for all women. As we focus on our mission to ‘assist each woman of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God’, let’s not miss any opportunity to connect!
